Promise & Possibility
FREE AT LAST PLAYERS
Having been in existence for over 30 years, the Free At Last Players use performance art to shed light on the true nature of mental illness: dispelling the mistruths and misconceptions that surround it. The group believes that all individuals have an inherent dignity - no one should be shunned or disrespected based on whatever qualities they might possess that make them different. Having performed all over Connecticut and the United States, the Free At Last Players promote the truth that everyone has something to contribute to society, and that recovery from mental illness is not only possible but promised with hard work and belief.
Written and performed by Sarah Poutre, Micah Baxter,
Elizabeth Reynolds, Marlene Geary & John Calderbank
